In a meeting with a delegation led by Gleisi Hoffmann, president of the Workers' Party of Brazil, Li said Beijing would like to promote friendly exchanges, enhance political mutual trust and deepen strategic cooperation with Brasilia.

China to enhance mutual trust with El Salvador

Vice-President Han Zheng underscored on Wednesday China's readiness for stronger political mutual trust with El Salvador, calling for deeper bilateral cooperation in building the Belt and Road and promoting people-to-people exchanges.

Han made the remarks when meeting in Beijing with a senior delegation led by the leader of El Salvador's New Ideas Party and the country's Vice-President-elect Felix Ulloa.

While lauding the rapid development of bilateral ties since the two nations established diplomatic ties over five years ago, Han highlighted the willingness of the Communist Party of China to build a new type of political party relations with the New Ideas Party of El Salvador in order to push for steady and long-term bilateral relations.
