Former Yunnan vice-governor investigated

Zhang Zulin, the former vice-governor of Yunnan province in South China, is under investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Commission of Supervision for suspected serious violations of Party disciplines and state laws, reported China Central Television on Friday.
Zhang, born in June 1959 in Zhaotong, Yunnan province, began working in 1977 and became a Party member in 1985. He served as the vice-governor of Yunnan province from 2014 until the end of his term in 2022.
