A global talent recruitment drive in a Wuxi district
The Binhu district of Wuxi, Jiangsu province, is recruiting global talent by selecting 118 outstanding individuals with the highest annual salary reaching 700,000 yuan ($97,251).
The recruitment effort has announced 92 positions, spanning various fields crucial for developing the service industry, including investment promotion, planning and construction, finance, big data, and cultural tourism.
In recent years, Binhu has fostered a favorable environment for innovation and entrepreneurship. It has introduced more appealing talent policies and increased special funds for talent to 140 million yuan ($19.5 million).
The district has also hosted annual events like the Taihu Bay Science and Innovation Conference. In 2023, 18 individuals were selected for the major national talent project, ranking the district first in the city.
In addition to the attractive living environment, the district offers an exclusive service team of nearly 50 people to handle talent-related matters such as entry and exit and government affairs.
Furthermore, over 4,400 talent apartments have been refurbished as of February, with plans to complete 10,000 by the end of 2024.
