Two-day maglev train trial run succeeds in Guangdong

On Tuesday, the two-day trial run of a maglev train route built for tourist sites concluded in Qingyuan, Guangdong province.
The project is the first medium and low-speed maglev train route in Guangdong and the fourth in the country.
The initial section of the route measures 8.01 kilometers in length and takes about 12 minutes to cover.
The section connects the Yinzhan station of the Guangzhou-Qingyuan intercity railway and the Qingyuan Chimelong Forest Resort, under construction, with the Hudiewan station in the middle.
During the trial run, 800 locals experienced the new train service.
