Sanmenxia city, located in Central China's Henan province, recently discovered a new oilfield with crude oil reserves totaling 107 million metric tons, marking a key milestone in the region's 50-year-long petroleum investigation.
The oilfield is estimated to achieve a daily crude oil production of 17.13 tons, according to local media reports, citing a national geological survey conference.
