Winter village gala in Shenyang delights visitors
"The winter village gala brought me joy. I saw the happy life of the villagers and felt their hospitality," said Jess Lim, a Malaysian student at Shenyang Conservatory of Music, after experiencing a New Year holiday in Caitun village in Shenyang, the capital city of Liaoning province.
The event featured traditional activities in the vibrant atmosphere of rural Chinese-style New Year celebrations, including yangko dance, rice cake tasting, and paper cutting.
Jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and other departments, the event is a testament to promoting cultural charm and the indispensable cultural vitality necessary for rural revitalization in this new era.
