The museum, located in Miaohuang village of Linzhou county, also showed the values of self-reliance, hard work, solidarity, and selfless dedication.
Wang Wenlin, a 56-year-old villager, expressed the significance of the historical items since they vividly embody the essence of the "Red Flag Canal spirit".
Visitors to the museum, such as 79-year-old Liu Zhongshu, were deeply moved by the hammers, hoes, and helmets on display, as they evoked memories of his participation in the construction of the Red Flag Canal in 1960 when he was 16 years old.
