Kenya celebrates 60 years of independence and 60 years of relations with China

As Kenya celebrates 60 years since it gained independence and 60 years of bilateral relations with China, the East African country is enjoying advanced ties with the Asian powerhouse that has significantly contributed to its economic development.

In an interview with the Chinese media houses based in Kenya on Monday, Musalia Mudavadi, the prime cabinet secretary and foreign affairs cabinet secretary, said the two countries have enjoyed the highest level of engagement over the past 60 years.
