Tian Lin, vice-president of Minzu University of China, is undergoing disciplinary review and supervisory investigation for suspected violations of Party disciplines and national laws, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of Communist Party of China and the National Supervisory Commission said in a statement issued on Friday.
Tian, 58, is a member of the Miao ethnic group and a native of Hunan province.
He has worked in the field of education for decades and was deputy head and head of a high school in Zhangjiajie, Hunan, for 11 years. In 2005, he joined the High School affiliated with Minzu University of China through a national open selection process.
