Rehabilitation services for disabled to expand
China has pledged an initiative to establish a network of rehabilitation service centers across the country for people with disabilities, aiming to enhance support for this group. According to a plan issued by the China Disabled Persons' Federation, every provincial-level region must set up at least one service center in 2024 for each category of disabled people. The initiative is set to expand further in 2025, with more centers established nationwide.
Improved railway services for foreign travelers
China will provide foreign travelers with more convenient railway services, including easier online ticket purchases, according to China State Railway Group Co. Holders of the foreign permanent resident ID card will enjoy the same self-service and online services as Chinese citizens. Moreover, railway authorities also launched an online identity verification service for foreign passport holders on Tuesday.
