China names 'Most Beautiful Veterans'
Chinese authorities on Monday released a list of people who were awarded the "Most Beautiful Veterans" title, highlighting the exemplary deeds of retired military personnel who have selflessly dedicated themselves to the Communist Party of China, the nation and the people.
The list was jointly released by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission.
The winners are veterans from the desert-control team in Qiemo county, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, and 19 other individuals.
Among them, some have committed themselves to afforestation and desert control. Others have made breakthroughs in cutting-edge technologies, contributing to the development of the aerospace industry, while some have dedicated themselves to the field of education.
Their stories embody the values of the vast community of retired soldiers, reflecting their commitment to serving the people and contributing to society.
