South Korea will transfer the remains of 25 Chinese People's Volunteers martyrs and related items to China on Thursday, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs said.
It said it had reached an agreement with South Korea's defense department on the 10th transfer of CPV martyrs' remains from South Korea.
A joint ceremony for the embalming of the remains will be held in South Korea on Wednesday, with a handover ceremony scheduled for the next day.
The nine previous transfers, from 2014 to 2022, returned the remains of 913 CPV martyrs and related items from South Korea to China.
South Korea has said it will continue to transfer the excavated remains of CPV martyrs to China.
