Beijing media forum brings global journalists together
It was held before the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation to be held in Beijing on Tuesday and Wednesday. Senior leaders from media associations and journalists from countries involved in BRI were invited to share their ideas in promoting exchanges.
Wu Xu, council member of the All-China Journalists Association, said at the forum that international exchanges and cooperation among media will play an important role in helping people from different countries know each other and promoting the progress of human civilizations.
Marek Traczyk, president of the Polish Media Association, said: "We hold the responsibility to open the door to other cultures, other civilizations and other political system. The meeting with the media here is key in demonstrating that we have to work together and exchange information."
