Security guard, 61, is an artist at heart

Nie specializes in landscape painting — mountains and water — and can finish a painting in three to four hours. Large paintings usually take a week.

His paintings are sold at around 100 yuan ($13.7) each, with large ones costing several hundred yuan. Most of his paintings are given away free.
