Security guard, 61, is an artist at heart

He shares the 6-square-meter dormitory with a colleague, Chen Baoqing. Chen doesn't know much about painting, but he thinks that Nie's drawing are very good.

"He becomes a different person when he starts painting," Chen said. "He is painting when I go to sleep and I see him drawing sometimes when I wake up in the middle of the night."
