On Sept 11, the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the US, government agencies, schools, fire stations and others held memorial ceremonies. On Sept 11, 2001, terrorists hijacked four planes and crashed them into the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon in Virginia and a field in Pennsylvania, killing nearly 3,000 people in a few hours.
