Traffic accident kills 5

Five people died and 16 were hospitalized in the wake of a traffic accident in Dazhu county in Sichuan province on Thursday.
According to the publicity department of the Dazhu county committee of the Communist Party of China, the accident took place at a downhill bend on Zhushi Road in the county at about 5 pm. One person died at the scene and four injured died in hospital. Sixteen others are receiving treatment in hospital and are in stable condition.
An investigation shows that the accident was caused by a truck turning out of control while turning right downhill, pressing down on an upward passenger bus.
