Former top court official probed for graft

Zheng Xuelin, a former senior official of China's top court, is being investigated for suspected severe violations of discipline and the law, the country's top anti-corruption watchdog said on Thursday.
The Communist Party of China's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission announced the investigation on their website.
Zheng, 61, who graduated from China University of Political Science and Law, worked for the Supreme People's Court for decades. He once served as chief judge of the SPC's Case Filing Tribunal, the Adjudication Tribunal for Environment and Resources and No 1 Civil Adjudication Tribunal. He was also a member of the SPC's Adjudication Committee.
The announcement gave no further details.
