China has established a private economy development bureau under the National Development and Reform Commission, the country's top economic regulator, as part of broader efforts to stimulate the vitality of the private economy, said an NDRC official on Monday.

Cong Liang, deputy head of the NDRC, said the specialized bureau was set up to strengthen the coordination of policies for private economy and promote the early implementation of related measures.
