Shantou suspends schools on Monday in preparation for typhoon

Primary and middle schools and kindergartens in Shantou, Guangdong province will be suspended on Monday as typhoon Haikui is expected to make landfall again between Guangdong and Fujian province on Tuesday.
Haikui made landfall in Taitung of Taiwan on Sunday afternoon.
Wind and rainfall are expected to gain strength in eastern Guangdong on Monday, according to Guangdong meteorological observatory.
China Railway Guangzhou Group expects to suspend 391 trains passing the potentially affected areas starting at 4 pm on Monday.
