Measures implemented to boost Jiaxing's housing sector
Jiaxing in East China's Zhejiang province announced on Friday that it will scrap all restrictions in the purchasing and sales of housing, a latest move to further promote the stable and healthy development of the local real estate market.
The local Jiaxing municipal housing and urban-rural development bureau issued a batch of 21 new measures on Friday, stating support for the reasonable housing demand of local families and the cancellation of all administrative restrictive measures.
As of the day these measures were issued, all resident families' reasonable requirements for purchasing a house will be supported, and for each family, there will be no longer any restrictions on the number of houses allowed to be purchased.
It also stipulates that all commercial housing (including originally restricted properties) in Jiaxing will no longer be restricted from transferring.
The measures also include enhancing support on loans of housing provident funds, and encouraging local real estate enterprises to undertake group purchasing activities of housings among the general public, in a bid to "better guide the expectation of housing consumption among homebuyers", it said.
