5.4-magnitude quake hits waters off Taiwan: CENC

BEIJING -- A 5.4-magnitude earthquake hit waters off Taiwan's Pingtung at 3:47 am on Sunday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 22.03 degrees north latitude and 121.49 degrees east longitude. The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 km, the center said.
