Transport convention hits the gas in Wuhan
More than 4,000 experts in transportation from China and abroad gathered in central China to discuss sustainable development in the field on Wednesday.
Titled "Innovation, Low Carbon, Wisdom, Sharing", the four-day World Transport Convention kicked off in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province.
More than 230 forums with different themes will be held.
The event will demonstrate scientific and technological achievements and development models in the fields of sustainable transportation, green transportation, smart transportation, digital transportation, comprehensive transportation and intelligent transportation, as well as the integration of transportation and energy.
Thanks to major projects such as the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, CCCC has overcome a series of world-class technical problems, formulated a series of international and domestic industry standards and trained a large number of top professional and technical personnel in the industry, said Wang Haihuai, general manager of China Communications.
He also noted the company will enhance international exchanges and cooperation.
