Shangri-La Dialogue: China comes for peace, US for hegemony, says general

Jing Jianfeng, deputy chief of the Central Military Commission's Joint Staff Department, said China went to the Shangri-La Dialogue for peace, for development, and for cooperation, while the United States went to assert its "position as the global leader", and to maintain its hegemony.
