Serbian manager admires trade-oriented mindset of Pingyao people
Faris Rebronja, a Serbian international trade manager, has found a second home in the city of Pingyao, Shanxi province. "I truly consider myself as one of the Pingyao people." he says.
Fascinated by its well-preserved historical sites and cultural significance, Rebronja says the ancient charm has enchanted him since he first arrived.
Rebronja admires the trade-oriented mindset of Pingyao locals, who excel in international commerce. "They can really share their experiences and help you in all aspects of trading," he says.
Looking ahead, Rebronja envisions a deeper partnership between China and Serbia under the Belt and Road Initiative, building on the countries' strong economic ties.
"As for my future, I really want and hope to stay here as long as I can," he added.
