Communist Youth League puts renewed effort into youth employment

The Central Committee of the Communist Young League recently held a teleconference to beef up its work in promoting the employment of college students.
The league's officials said at the conference college students are precious resources and the league will continue to prioritize the group's employment in its work.
According to the league, college graduates from lower-income families will enjoy priority status in getting job-hunting assistance from the league. It will also help young students fulfill their personal values at grassroots positions.
As of Monday, the league has collected around 897,000 vacancies from 52,000 companies nationwide.
About 36,000 cadres from the league have offered one-on-one guidance and assistance to unemployed college students who graduated last year and fresh graduates from lower-income families, among whom 35,000 have successfully landed jobs as of Monday, according to a recent release from the league.
