2023 China Family Regatta and 2023 National Fitness Water Race Leisure Season activities set sail in Wuxi

The 2023 China Family Regatta officially started in the Taihu Lake Yuantouzhu Scenic Area on Saturday. More than 100 competitors from 39 groups of families from all over the country set sail in the beautiful landscape of Taihu Lake.

This year marks the sixth year of the China Family Regatta, and more than 4,000 families have participated in the event, making sailing a new choice for public weekend vacations. As one of the highly acclaimed mass participation sailing races, it is the second time this year for the event to come to Wuxi. The two-day race featured two categories: Hobie T1 and Hobie T2. On the sideline of the opening ceremony of this family sailing race, the water events season of the 2023 National Fitness Games officially kicked off a series of water sports events including sailing, dragon boats, kayaks and sailing boats in Wuxi.
