Wind turbine innovation conference held in Shandong

Within the context of China's carbon peak and neutrality efforts, Shandong province has planned an offshore wind power base of 35 million kilowatts. As one of three offshore wind power equipment industry bases planned by Shandong, Dongying has planned and constructed the Dongying Offshore Wind Power Equipment Industrial Park with a total investment of 48 billion yuan. By fully accelerating the development of a complete industrial chain of offshore wind power equipment manufacture, it aims to build a base of offshore wind power equipment with an output value of hundreds of billions of yuan and a headquarters for wind power in the north of China.
The Dongying Offshore Wind Power Equipment Industrial Park is located at the coast of the Bohai Sea and Guangli Port, a mature port for the transport of offshore wind power equipment and port hinterlands with complete supporting facilities. With a solid industrial foundation and strong collaboration potential, it can cover all offshore wind power bases in the Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea regions and extend its influence to countries and regions such as Japan and South Korea. So far, the park has implemented 25 industrial chain projects with a total investment of 24.7 billion Yuan such as CSSC and Shanghai Electric. It's predicted to achieve an output value of 5 billion yuan within the year, and an output value of 50 billion yuan by the end of the 14th 5-Year Plan period.
