Sino-India defense officials meet under SCO framework

A working group of the Chinese Defense Ministry participated on Thursday in a meeting in India on military cooperation under the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The Ministry of National Defense said in a statement on Friday that the working group was at the invitation of the Defense Ministry of India, which holds the SCO's rotating presidency.
The meeting was conducted between the international military collaboration departments of the defense ministries of the SCO member states in New Delhi, the statement said.
The officials exchanged views on defense issues and cooperation within the SCO framework this year, it said.
