Although China downgraded its management of COVID-19 from a Class A to a Class B disease on Jan 8 and the latest outbreak has peaked in Beijing, medical workers in the capital's hospitals remain at their posts, busy on the frontlines of epidemic prevention and control. Their focus now is on treating patients and preventing cases from becoming severe. During this year's Spring Festival, China Daily photographer Zhu Xingxin visited several hospitals in Beijing to present a snapshot of the hard work still being done.
