Yin Yong elected mayor of Beijing

Yin Yong was elected mayor of Beijing by the municipal legislature on Thursday, during the first session of the 16th Beijing Municipal People's Congress.
Yin Yong, born in August 1969, was appointed as the deputy mayor and acting mayor of Beijing, on October 28.
In July last year, Yin resigned as the deputy mayor of Beijing. Previously, he had been elected to serve as Beijing's deputy Party secretary.
