Kayakers challenge whitewater in Yunnan

Kayakers from around the country have gathered in Nujiang Lisu autonomous prefecture,Yunnan province, to challenge the treacherous waters of the Nujiang River during the 2022 China Nujiang River Kayak Wild Water Open.

The stage, which covers 350 meters, is located at the Laohutiao scenic spot in Lushu.

It is the most challenging part of the game. Competitors race through two rapids, with a maximum drop of 4 meters.
