Party chiefs of Shanxi, Shandong adjusted

The Party secretaries of Shandong and Shanxi provinces have recently been adjusted, according to Xinhua News Agency on Thursday.
Lin Wu, former Party secretary of Shanxi province, has been appointed by the Communist Party of China Central Committee to replace Li Ganjie in Shandong province.
Chen Xi, head of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, announced the decision at a meeting attended by provincial cadres on Thursday.
Li, born in November 1964, was elected as a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee in October.
Lin was born in February 1962 in Fujian province.
He once served at posts in Hunan province, including as general manager of the Xiangtan Iron and Steel Group, director of the Hunan provincial economic and trade commission, mayor and Party chief of Hunan's Loudi city, and in August 2015, he became a member of the Standing Committee of CPC Hunan Provincial Committee.
From January 2016 to May 2018, Lin served as a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee, as head of the Organization Department of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee, and as executive vice-governor of Jilin.
He started to work in Shanxi province in May 2018 as vice-governor and became governor of Shanxi in January 2020. He was appointed Party chief of Shanxi in May 2021.
The CPC Central Committee also decided that Lan Fo'an, former governor of Shanxi province, will take over as Party secretary of Shanxi province.
Lan was born in June 1962 in Guangdong province. He previously served as the director of the Guangdong provincial audit office and as Party chief of Guangdong's Shaoguan city.
In January 2016, he was elected vice-governor of Guangdong.
From March 2017 to April 2021, Lan served as a member of the Standing Committee of CPC Hainan provincial committee, and as secretary of the discipline inspection commission of the Hainan CPC Hainan Provincial Committee. He became the deputy secretary of the CPC Shanxi Provincial Committee and Shanxi's governor in June 2021.
