China, Egypt pledge to deepen Belt and Road cooperation

RIYADH - Chinese President Xi Jinping met his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, here on Thursday, with both sides pledging to deepen Belt and Road cooperation.

Noting that China and Egypt enjoy shared visions and interests, Xi said the two sides should join hands to strive for a China-Egypt community with a shared future in the new era and push for new and greater development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
