Online program to link global talents with employers

Employers in Beijing will jointly hold an online recruitment meeting on Wednesday with more than 60 positions to offer to global talents.
The event is part of the second GT2HR, which was initiated in September to bridge over-seas high-calibre talents with universities, research institutes and sci-tech innovation en-terprises in Beijing.
Representatives from three employers, namely Chinese smartphone vendor Xiaomi Corp, Beijing University of Technology, and COMAC Beijing Aircraft Technology Research In-stitute, will debrief their recruitment plans and answer questions from participants.
Officials from Beijing Overseas Talents Center, the organizer of the GT2HR, will keynote the event, introducing the application procedures for a foreigner's work permit, services provided by GT2HR, as well as the HICOOL entrepreneurship competition.
Online participants include representatives from universities and research institutions that have international students in Beijing and other cities, overseas alumni associations, expat communities and talent agencies in Beijing.
The GT2HR will last until the beginning of the next year as part of Beijing's endeavors to become an international sci-tech innovation center and an international highland of lead-ing talents.
