Those areas include Kanglu, Datang and Longtan, said Zhang Yi, deputy director of the city's health commission, at a news conference on Tuesday.
The district reported 7,832 new infections on Monday. The entire city reported 8,210 local cases, 7,957 of which were asymptomatic carriers.
Baiyun district is still seeing multiple transmission spots and chains. Zengcheng district has reported higher new case totals in non-quarantine venues in the past few days, which poses a risk of community transmission, she said.
