Shanghai reports 45 new local COVID-19 infections

SHANGHAI -- China's Shanghai reported 17 confirmed locally transmitted COVID-19 cases and 28 local asymptomatic carriers on Thursday, the municipal health commission said Friday.
All of the new confirmed cases and all the asymptomatic carriers were found from people under quarantine, the commission said in a statement.
