The Ministry of Culture and Tourism issued a notice saying travel agencies' operation of tourism trains will resume Thursday.
These trains are designed to stop at stations near tourist attractions, with departure and arrival times in accordance with travel schedules or plans. The services were suspended due to epidemic control measures in October 2021.
According to the ministry, local authorities are required to tighten management of these trains, which will be suspended when counties or districts at destination areas are listed as having medium or high risk of COVID-19 infection.
