Nine under control after Tianjin gas explosion

Nine people alleged to be responsible for a gas explosion in Tianjin were brought under control on Wednesday, local media reported.
The accident occurred on Tuesday near a crossroad in the city's Baodi district, leaving 23 people injured, with three suffering severe burns.
All those injured were taken to hospital for treatment immediately after the accident.
As of late Wednesday evening, seven people with minor injuries have been discharged and another six people are expected to be discharged soon, according to local news portal Jinyun.
The three with severe burns are in stable condition.
The gas explosion was mainly caused by a nearby illegal construction, according to the emergency management authority of Baodi district, Tianjin.
