Hebei's Sanhe city neighboring Beijing, where many residents commute to the capital for work, reported on Tuesday evening two positive cases of COVID-19 at their quarantine locations, of which both are related to Beijing's Heaven Supermarket bar infection cluster.

Sanhe city government asked its residents not to leave the city unless necessary and people who have to enter the city should show negative nucleic acid test results and green health codes.

Beijing reported 25 new locally transmitted cases and 38 asymptomatic carriers for Tuesday, according to the health authority on Wednesday.
