Zoo in Tibet provides sightseeing, animal rescue

The Chushul Zoo of Lhasa, Tibet autonomous region, is the region's first large zoological garden. Since its opening in 2018, it has offered sightseeing, popular science education and plateau animal protection.
The zoo, located in Lhasa's Chushul county, is 50 kilometers from Lhasa and home to more than 300 animals of 30 species.
Since 2018, more than 300 animals have been successfully rescued by the zoo.
