China's top legislature has 2,951 lawmakers

BEIJING -- The 13th National People's Congress, China's top legislature, now has a total of 2,951 deputies, according to the NPC Standing Committee.
The figure was made public Monday in an announcement issued by the NPC Standing Committee.
