Fans in Inner Mongolia create icy Olympic rings
A video of five young men making the Olympic Rings by splashing water into the air has become a hit on Chinese social media platforms.
Comments on the video include "this is really creative" and "it is the romance of ice".
In the video, three of the five pour water from above cars while the other two stand on the ground. The men are from Ergune in Hulunbuir of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
"We have six people in the group, five in charge of splashing water and the other one to shoot the video," said Yan Lei, director of the video.
"We failed more than a dozen times. The temperature was 30 degrees below zero outside and we got wet. There was ice all over the car," Yan added.
"However, the colder we got, the more excited we became. As enthusiasts of winter sports, we want to give our best wishes to the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics."
