On 90th anniversary of Sept 18 Incident, students raise call for world peace

"This year marks the 90th anniversary of the September 18 Incident. I pray for world peace," said Anna Van, international student from Liaoning University.
Nine international students in China visited nine original sites, including the September 18 History Museum, the Shenyang WW II Allied Prisoners Camp Site Museum, and the Exhibition Hall of Former Site of Shenyang Trial Japanese War Criminals Court.
They explored the story behind Shenyang's launching of the first anti-fascist shot in the world, as well as the great history of China winning the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression (1931-45) together with the military and civilians of other countries in the world. They joined hands in calling for world peace.
The September 18th Incident was the starting point of the war, which was the prelude to the world's anti-fascist war. It was not only for China's independence but also for world peace.
