2.7b organic product labels; $12.4b in sales

China issued 2.7 billion organic product labels last year, the country's top market watchdog said on Monday. The country sold 999,000 tons of organic products in 2020, with sales reaching 80.43 billion yuan ($12.47 billion), according to the State Administration for Market Regulation.

PBOC conducts 10b yuan of reverse repos

China's central bank on Monday conducted 10 billion yuan ($1.55 billion) of reverse repos to maintain reasonably ample liquidity in the banking system. The interest rate for the seven-day reverse repos was set at 2.2 percent, according to a statement on the website of the People's Bank of China.
