Foreign students learn experience of poverty alleviation in China's Gansu

A group of foreign students from North China's Tianjin Municipality recently visited Tanchang county of Northwest China's Gansu province to explore the fruits of poverty alleviation campaign.
The 16 visitors, who hail from 13 countries and regions, are students of Tianjin University.
As part of efforts to introduce higher education resources in remote and poor areas of rural China, Tianjin University has been working with Tanchang county, Gansu province, to help drive local education development since 2019.
Based on the advantages of natural resources, Tanchang county has developed many key industries to shake off poverty and lead villagers to live good lives.
In Tanchang, foreign students visited a honey factory to learn the poverty reduction experience from locals.
