Red Cross sends emergency aid, rescue teams to flood-ravaged Henan

The Red Cross Society of China said on Wednesday that it had dispatched a working group to Zhengzhou, Central China's Henan province, to help the region tackle heavy rainfall and provide emergency aid to people affected.
The society also allocated tents, jackets, towels and other emergency materials to the region.
Its local branch in Henan province sent seven rescue teams and distributed emergency funds to purchase necessary materials, the society said.
