Jeff Bezos and crew complete their first space launch

The New Shepard spacecraft carried billionaire and former Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos on his first trip to space on Tuesday. The spacecraft lifted off from a launch site in West Texas at 8:12 am CT and flew to a suborbit of the Earth about 100 kilometers (62 miles) above the ground.
