Passengers, visitors and airport staff who love reading can now take advantage of free book lending services provided by the newly opened Beijing Daxing International Airport branch of Capital Library of China.
The library said it will be open year-round with 12 hours of service every day.
"It's the first time I have seen a library of such scale with full service in China," said Li Wenwei, a white-collar worker at a company in Beijing with foreign investors. "I travel a lot. Airports are frequent stops. It's great we can have a place to read during travel."
Different from the airport bookstores, the library has a large collection of books in various formats, as well as music and data resources.
