Senior official stresses publicizing CPC centenary

BEIJING - A senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official on Monday called for promoting publicity work on the CPC centenary.

Huang Kunming, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks when addressing a teleconference in Beijing.

Huang urged efforts to properly deliver major events, including large-scale thematic exhibitions, art performances and theoretical seminars.

He also urged the publicity organs to tell the stories of the CPC, as well as the stories of China and its people in the new era, to the overseas audience.
